The story follows a 20-year-old exchange student (Lilly Bell) whose summer immersion abroad spirals into a nightmare when she becomes entangled in a household poisoned by secrecy and an unsettling intimacy between a mother (Penny Barber) and her withdrawn son (Max Fills.) What begins as a seemingly innocent stay unravels into coercion, isolation, and fractured identities.
