Adult industry mental health nonprofit Pineapple Support has announced the release of the organization’s End of Year Review for 2025, detailing the group’s “achievements, challenges and new initiatives of the organization this year.”
“In a year marked by financial strain across the industry and rising mental health needs, Pineapple Support continued to expand its reach and deliver vital care to thousands of creators worldwide,” Pineapple Support said in the announcement. The organization noted that by the end of 2025 it had:
- Delivered more than $2.3 million on therapy, emotional support, and essential mental health services to date
- Provided over 18,000 one-on-one therapy sessions to adult performers and producers
- Connected more than 4,000 performers, producers, and other members of the adult community with emotional support and therapy
- Launched Wellbeing by PS, a new corporate wellbeing initiative for businesses in the adult industry
“To date, we have supported nearly 20,000 people in the online adult industry,” said Leya Tanit, founder and CEO of Pineapple Support. “78% of donations went directly toward providing care, making us one of the most efficient nonprofits in the US. However, as the industry faces difficulties, the demand for our services continues to rise. The need for mental health support does not lessen; it increases with the added financial pressure faced by creators. Fundraising remains vital, and we hope the industry recognizes this and continues to support the community during these times.”
The End of Year review also covers how the organization has “continued its commitment to delivering free and low-cost mental health therapy, support, and resources to performers and content creators in the adult industry,” the announcement noted, explaining that the roundup “details emerging mental health trends, including a notable rise in neurodiversity-related support requests, as well as the organization’s presence at major industry events, its corporate training initiatives, and its 2026 funding goals.”
According to the announcement, Pineapple Support “aims to raise an additional $110,000 compared to last year to meet these growing needs.” The organization said a recent event, the “Mx Pineapple Pageant” hosted by Falcon Studios/NakedSword, raised $50,000 in a single night.
“Our challenges are growing, but so is our strength,” Tanit said. “The collective support from our sponsors, therapists, staff, and community has been vital in connecting workers with essential mental health services. Your generosity continues to be the lifeline that not only supports but transforms lives.”
