In a statement released this week, Squirt.org released the site’s annual “Squirt Unloaded” report, described by the platform as “a massive data study that’s become something of a bellwether for queer adult behavior online.”
According to Squirt, this year’s edition of the report “pulls from more than 100,000 data points, and the topline story is simple: gay and bi men’s sexual fantasies and pop culture interests are evolving fast — and the adult industry is evolving with them.”
“This year’s dataset reveals a market that’s becoming more sophisticated and more expressive,” said Mitchell Cheeseman, Senior Manager for Brand and Marketing Communications at Squirt.org. “From the surge in group play to the renewed dominance of oral as a top fantasy, gay and bi men are gravitating toward experiences that blend intensity with intimacy. These insights offer a meaningful advantage — a deeper understanding of what audiences will seek out, purchase, and engage with in the year ahead.”
According to the release, the report identified the following as “trends to keep an eye on”:
–Cities worldwide showed sharply defined sexual identities, including:
- Sydney as the global city with the most Tops
- Los Angeles as the city with the most Bottoms
- New York City as the world’s Vers capital
- Chicago as the #1 cruising city in the U.S.
- Toronto leading cruising activity in Canada
- Spain ranking as the #1 cruising country overall
–Daddy dominance continues — Daddies are the #1 “type” globally, outperforming bears, twinks, muscle bros, and even the fast-rising “gaymers.”
–Group play is officially the most popular kink of 2025, overtaking BDSM, roleplay, leather, and exhibitionism.
–Oral reclaimed #1 as the world’s favorite form of foreplay, with rimming and massage climbing.
–Bareback, orgy, and dom/sub are the top-watched porn categories, beating out amateur and public.
–Lady Gaga reigns supreme as gay men’s favorite musical artist.
–Mondays are the busiest cruising day worldwide (and by a wide margin)
