LOS ANGELES—Chloe Amour remembers thinking some of the advanced sex acts seen at the highest levels of porn may be out of her reach.
The native of San Antonio was new to adult, figuring out if she had what it takes to stand out in the big leagues.
“When I was 22 around 2013 and I would go to the AVN shows and the people that I would see winning—like the top female performers—to me I’ve always called them extreme queens,” Amour recalls. “And I was like damn, I don’t know if I’ll ever be ready for that. Because it’s intense. And they’ve earned those titles.”
But two years into her return from a five-year hiatus—and more than a decade after making her debut—Amour is proving to be one of the adult industry’s elite performers herself.
Now the stunning headliner can do it all on camera—and she does it with a smile.
The former lifeguard and rides hostess at Six Flags Fiesta Texas has performed in more than 100 studio scenes since returning in July 2023, including sixty-something this year alone in what is shaping up to be the finest season of her career.
Amour, who has more than 700 overall credits since Day One, knows exactly what she wants this time around. Not only has she raised her profile with sensational performances for studio stalwarts such as Evil Angel, Mike Adriano, Jules Jordan, Tushy, Hard X, Blacked, Reality Kings, Adult Time, Bellesa, MetArt and Brazzers, she also has elevated her brand with innovative marketing campaigns that have included billboard and LED truck promotions in L.A. and on the Las Vegas Strip.
“After years of dedication and growth, Chloe Amour has finally reached stardom,” says Sandra McCarthy, founder and CEO of OC Modeling, the agency that has guided Amour during her comeback.
“She has spent years perfecting her craft and it shows. She’s gorgeous, friendly, caring and her scenes are explosive and that attracts more companies to have her on their set.”
Just ask AVN Hall of Fame shooter Jonni Darkko, who produced and directed Mon Amour, the glittering star showcase that features the exotic beauty of Mexican, Spanish and Cherokee descent delivering three career firsts.
“She’s very passionate at what she does and she’s a great performer,” Darkko tells AVN. “There’s nothing that we’ve done that I felt she gave anything less than 100 percent to and that’s what makes her worthy of a showcase.”
Amour rose to the occasion in some of the most hardcore scenes she’s ever done in Mon Amour, where she completed her first airtight (all orifices filled), her first five-man gangbang and her first double-anal penetration, highlighting what became a four-scene porno event from Darkko Productions/Evil Angel.
“Coming back I wanted to continue to challenge myself as a performer,” says Amour, who got her first break in 2012 after submitting photos to Playboy Plus, where she appeared under the name Chloe Michele.
“It’s a big deal for me that I’ve performed and experienced a lot of firsts in the industry. And I think part of that is because it’s a safe space for me. There’s a lot of things like DP’s, the airtights, the gapes, the gangbangs—even just anal in general—I don’t go around doing that kind of stuff in my personal life.
“Not that I can’t. I’m sure if I posted something, there’d be a huge list of people who would want to do those things with me.
“But I just feel like I’m in a safe space doing it on set and you’re literally getting a very organic, authentic expression from me throughout the scenes.”
Amour says she was nervous before her scenes in Mon Amour, but one would never have known. Instead she made the difficult look easy, smiling and dirty talking the entire way while maintaining ample eye contact with Darkko’s camera.
Her airtight scene partners included Alex Jones, Hollywood Cash and Rob Piper; she did her double-anal with Piper and Richard Mann; for the gangbang, she serviced Musa Phoenix, Derek Savage, Cash, Mann and Piper; and then her tag-team session brought in fellow showstopper Jennifer White and Jax Slayher.
The project represented such a significant milestone for Amour that she felt overwhelmed with emotion early in the production.
“Honestly, I think I even cried,” Amour confesses. “I know I didn’t cry in front of Darkko, but I think I cried when I got home or when it hit me later where I was like, I’m about to do my first showcase in my entire career and I never expected that ever. I just wanted to put out good work. I wanted to have good energy and I just wanted to challenge myself and liberate myself.
“And when I’m doing things that are new to me, that’s how I’m challenging myself. When I’m doing new things on camera sexually, that’s how I’m liberating myself.”
She continues, “So then when this showcase came, I was like now I can be somehow in the same running lane or even in consideration of the ones before me who experienced these types of scenes and sexual experiences. And now I know like what it’s like. And it’s very surreal because if I talked to my younger self, my younger self would’ve been like that’s crazy, I don’t think I can do that. Then I’m looking at my older self and I’m like, yeah you fucking did that and it was amazing.
“In a silly way I feel lucky to experience those things because I think it’s something that a lot of people might never experience in their entire life. And it’s part of my job.”
The Chicago native Darkko, who is widely regarded as a master of the star showcase genre, tells AVN that he and Amour left nothing to chance as they planned the look and feel of the production. For example, they made creative use of her favorite color purple in the stylish tease sequences—shot on a separate day at a studio in Burbank—as Darkko utilized massive LED screens, EDM-style visual effects and his own original beats. Not to mention he chose three different purple-themed lingerie sets for Amour—and she bought special earrings for the gangbang.
“We had big conversations based on what the content was going to be,” Darkko says. “It couldn’t be just boy/girl anals. We knew we had to take it to another level and I think we did a good job with that.
“She wanted to go the extra mile. She wanted to do a gangbang, which she had never done. And she was entertaining double anal even though she said, ‘I don’t know if I can do it.’ But I’ve done enough of these to know and I told her, ‘You can do it, it’s more on the guys.”
Darkko, who also directed Amour in a DP for his no-holes-barred Double Penetration Fixation 5, adds, “She was killing it. When I say ‘action’ she just comes alive and that’s a quality I look for when I decide who to shoot a whole showcase with. She really understands that when you’re rolling, it’s on. That’s something Chloe is very good at. When the camera is rolling, she’s very cognizant of where it’s at.
“I don’t have to sit there and keep prodding someone. She’s great at understanding that and that’s what makes her amazing.”
Amour would be the first to admit that it took lots of practice for her to thrive in those kinds of high-stakes environments on set.
“I start to think about directors who I’ve worked with doing anal in the U.S. that have helped me I think prepare me for shooting with Darkko—because I had never shot for Darkko until I came back,” Amour says, pointing to seasoned shot-callers such as Jules Jordan, Mike Adriano, Mason and Bryan Gozzling.
Adriano, the veteran performer, director and studio owner whose blue-chip network of sites includes Nympho, TrueAnal, Swallowed, AllAnal, AnalOnly and DirtyAuditions, has shot Amour almost 20 times—both before and after her hiatus.
“Chloe is always a force to be reckoned with when it comes to delivering top-notch anal performances,” Adriano tells AVN. “She definitely has very strong sex appeal which keeps making her a fan favorite. She also has one of the sexiest buttholes I’ve seen!”
Hookup Hotshot owner/director Bryan Gozzling agrees, telling AVN that he loved shooting Amour for Hookup Hotshot: E-Girls 25 and Episode 359: Chloe Amour DP.
“I can’t really describe how happy we are to have had Chloe on the site,” Gozzling, who launched HUHS in 2015, tells AVN. “She is so beautiful and high glamour I never would have thought she’d be interested in working with us, let alone return three times and for such epic scenes!
“Her performance ability is second to absolutely none. She has always one-upped herself and put on a master class in passionate, extreme sex on our set. To my mind, what makes her such a strong performer is her dedication.”
Gozzling continues, “She arrived having never performed some of the sex acts that she has done for us but you never would have guessed that was the case watching her. She is such a natural and commits 1000% to whatever she is doing. Her golden showers are so hot and nasty, her DP and anal should be studied by all female talent and she is the definition of photogenic. We at Hookup Hotshot consider ourselves very, very lucky to have her as a part of our little family!”
Amour performed her first anal scenes in 2015 for Woodman Entertainment, telling AVN that French producer/director Pierre Woodman’s freewheeling style helped to calm her nerves.
“His stuff is very raw and organic and there’s nothing set up,” Chloe says. “And so it just made me feel less nervous, even though I was still very nervous.
“But him and I ended up becoming friends.”
She shot a Woodman Casting X audition in L.A., and the two hit it off so much that she decided to travel to Europe to shoot her first D.P. with him.
“As everyone has probably seen, Chloe’s casting was incredible action and I will truly never forget it. It was fabulous,” Woodman, who directed his first movies for Private in 1993, tells AVN. “I often feel stressed when I have anal sex for the first time with a girl, but with Chloe, her humor, her kindness, her beauty and her incredible sexual skill all combined made me feel great and it was truly amazing for me.”
He continues, “In August 2024 we were working again in Budapest and our friendship is unbreakable. I am glad she became a big star in the porn industry! And I am thankful for the confidence she had in me at her beginning.”
Amour debuted on Easter Sunday in 2013, a month before her 22nd birthday, racking up more than 500 scenes before stepping away from adult in 2019 to give her body and mind a chance to recharge. Then COVID hit.
A full-time resident of Las Vegas since 2021, Chloe knew she wanted to return to adult during her hiatus, it only was a matter of when.
Now she’s armed with renewed purpose, the perspective of time and the wisdom of someone whose paid her dues. Recently, Amour modeled for the 2026 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo ad campaign that will be rolled out all over Las Vegas in January. Amour and several fellow stars will be featured on billboards, taxicabs, buses and all throughout the casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
“I’ve just been trying to make up for lost time because I did not want to be gone that long—I was not planning on being gone for five years,” Amour admits.
“I only wanted to take a year break and then there was the two years, I think I lost time with the pandemic. And then when I realized that I was not going to get married and have children with the person that I was with in 2023, I realized that I never fully exited the adult industry.
“I didn’t leave on my own terms because leaving on my own terms would be like announcing retirement. I didn’t do that. So I was like, I have to go back. I have to let people know I’m alive…I’m still here.”
Not only has Amour made her presence known again, now she’s building her legacy, determined to leave her own unique mark on adult entertainment.
