Q. Could you let our readers know what Twisted Edge is?
A. Twisted Edge, now just over eleven years old is the biggest alt lifestyle magazine, certainly in the UK if not further afield. Since September 2023, the only magazine in ‘real’ print, away from the print on demand platforms. From its’ inception as a lookbook-fanzine to go alongside the Twisted Agency way back thirteen years ago, to its now heavily stamped in the industry standalone self.
Q. What makes your magazine stand out from the rest in the industry?
A. Twisted Edge has always been the trusted reliable source for great publication, made to look as good as it can for those who are in an issue. Always been a go to source for photographers and models as “the best place to submit to” as Twisted Edge has always developed, upped its game and continued to progress as a worldwide, well known and respected brand should.
Q. So who is invovled in creating the magazine?
A. The magazine was founded by Craig Palethorpe and to this day is still made by the same person. The Twisted Edge team compromises himself, VP katie, BDM Jessica and Advertising Bonnie. Over the years Twisted Edge has worked with some amazing brands, and is currently heavily involved with Spearmint Rhino with a whole new #twistedrhino branding on its way. With many more brands being involved as it moves forward.
Q. What are Twisted Edge ethos?
A. Twisted Edge ethos has always been the same, an open format magazine publication, that is open for anyone and everyone, with a ‘no censoring’ policy on what peole want to show and say, this alone keeps us an impeccable reputation.
Along with Twisted Edge shoot days with Thirteen Events management, again open to all both sides of the camera, we hold these for people to come and create amazing content, where anyone can be published.
Q. Could you let ours and your readers know what you have coming up?
A. So we have a few #twistedrhino shoots with Spearmint Rhino, our own shoot day at Tank Space, we are attending the Expo Erotica in September and the UK Glamour and Fetish Awards in November. Not to mention the obligatory monthly issues of the magazine. Plus part of a new Podcast called Behind Closed Doors. Also we have a few new ventures coming up which are really special.
