LOS ANGELES—With January just around the corner, 2024 AVN Best New Starlet Chanel Camryn isn’t wasting any time. As she told AVN’s Dan Miller after winning the coveted up-and-comer’s title, “I did go really hard in my first two years because I really wanted to make a name for myself.”
This year, the 2025 XRCO Female Performer of the Year and Spiegler Girl, has crowned her relatively short career with its first showcase feature for Bang.com, titled Quiver Queen: Chanel Camryn 90s Theme Showcase.
“I got adorned with that [nickname] very early into my career due to my shaking orgasms,” Camryn told AVN. Mind you, that career started in 2022 and has already clocked more than 400 scenes, fueling her rapid rise in the ranks of gonzo royalty.
In Quiver Queen, Camryn said she was inspired by the great gonzo performers of the ‘90s era—a class that includes heavy-hitting hardcore stars like Anna Malle, Houston, Jeanna Fine and Bionca Seven, among others. The star worked with Bang! over the last two years, to make sure the concept contained her vision for its gonzo style and neon-colored, big-hair-and-legwarmers aesthetic.
The showcase’s director Chris Streams can recall back to the start of his career as a performer in the late ‘90s, followed by a decades of directing credits for studios including 3rd Degree, Jules Jordan and Metro—which is why Camryn thought he would be perfect for the gig.
“We both agreed that like Chris Streams would be the best because this is kind of his era of porn, 90s gonzo; so, that’s who I chose,” she explained. “It was a very collaborative effort of picking the outfits and how we were gonna do everything. We did it all together as a team which was really cool because sometimes, with other companies, they pick how it’s gonna go and you’re just there to do the scenes.
“But [Bang! was] really awesome about letting me be a part of the creative process, which was one of the requirements for me wanting to do a showcase. I really wanted it to be what I wanted.”
The results will reward Camryn’s fans and hardcore lovers with four scenes and some significant first-ever milestones.
Camryn’s first double vag and double anal (performed with Seth Gamble and Zac Wild), wasn’t meant to be in the same scene, but flowed organically, she said, so, she just let events unfold.
“I did my first double vag and my first double anal, and those are within one scene, so we did them together, um, just because Seth and Zac Wild, in Chris’s opinion, were the best option to use for a double penetration like that. Because they have done it in the past and they’re very good with it.
“So, yeah, we wanted to use them and we could only use them once in the movie. So we decided to just do the double vag and the double anal together, and I felt like putting them together was a good flow,” she explained.
“It was definitely amazing. I’d say the one thing about that scene that stood out for me was, like, usually when I do any type of anal, any type of DP, I always like to warm up for the anal prior. But this scene was just so good and it flowed so well and the energy was so good that I just did it. I had no warm up. There was no practice. I just looked at Seth and was like, ‘Put it in there.’
“I think the great thing about that scene is there’s not a lot of cuts unless we needed water. It was straight through for like double penetration and I thought that really makes the scene flow a lot better,” she said.
Camryn added that, due to scheduling issues, the production was spread out over weeks instead of packed into a few days, so her performance maintains a higher level of intensity since she was “fresh” for each scene.
Which includes a “first” gangbang, in a five-man go-down with John Strong, Damon Dice, Codey Steele, Eddie Jaye and Ace Hardz that includes her first-ever airtight. “I’ve done a gangbang prior, but this is my first airtight gangbang,” she explained.
“So, the first gangbang that I did was a VR scene. It was very early into my career and uh it was, you know, I wasn’t doing anal yet, so… it wasn’t really giving true gangbang aesthetic. So, I still consider this to be like my first ‘official’ gangbang, focusing around the fact that it was an airtight—and then I also I did maybe like a minute of triple penetration—but it was not a lot.
“We did lots of double vag, and then I really wanted to try triple penetration because that was something on my bucket list. So, we did that towards the end of the scene, but I think with the guys that we had, it just wasn’t as easy for them to get into the position. Obviously, I had no idea where they should be,” she recalled. “I told Chris—I was like, ‘You got to direct this part because like, I don’t know what to do here. I’m just in the middle….’”
Two additional scenes round out the sunlit movie, including an energetic threesome with Jax Slayher and Slim Poke and boy-girl pairing with Victor Ray on a white leather couch.
No stranger to hard work and in the sophomore stage of her adult career, the 24-year old starlet is on the verge of assuming her adult star status—but also is nothing if not practical. Before entering the adult industry, she worked as a CNA in Alaska, where she’s from. Now, she would like to back up her passion for gonzo style-hardcore with a degree in a healthcare-related field.
“I recently started going to college this past August—so, my schedule is not as wide open as it used to be, but I’m still working—any day that I’m not going to school,“ she said.
“Now that I’ve done all of the firsts that I can do, I’m just focusing on doing things that are more aligned to my brand and who I am as a performer—which obviously where I excel the most is gonzo.
“And then I also love getting to be a part of any movies. I love the acting aspect as well. So just trying to do bigger projects, rather than too much ‘teen’ [content] that doesn’t really fit with the persona that I want to carry in porn, as well. I mean, I will still do [those scenes] because I have fans who want them, but I’m trying to shift my main focus to hardcore gonzo, doing bigger movies and projects like that.”
